WAMS Technical Resource

Job Summary

To support a utility client in Seattle, the remote contract WAMS Technical Resource will enhance and maintain the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAMS) environment, focusing on backend development, data integration, and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and maintain backend processes within Oracle Utilities WAMS v1.9x and develop reusable data integration patterns
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document functional processes and translate business requirements into technical logic
• Develop SQL queries and Shell scripts for automation and data processing while ensuring compliance with architectural standards

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities WAM (preferably v1.9x)
• Strong backend development skills, including SQL, data extraction, and ETL workflows
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Unix/Linux environments
• Experience with secure file-transfer processes and migrating integrations to Oracle Cloud Object Storage
