WAN Network Engineer

Job Summary

WAN Network Engineer is a full-time position focused on managing complex WAN environments with various routing and encryption protocols while supporting a Cisco-centric WAN enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support circuit actions, including new activations and upgrades, while utilizing monitoring systems for capacity planning
• Design and assist with the implementation of enterprise-class router scripts and document cloud-based technology solutions across multi-vendor platforms
• Perform WAN troubleshooting and manage projects related to the design and implementation of new network technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent experience plus 5-7 years in network engineering or telecommunications
• OS certification requirement (CCNA or higher) and 8570 Requirement: Engineering - IAT Level II (CCNA Security and SSCP)
• Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, IP network design, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience designing and deploying network solutions in enterprise environments
• Understanding of authentication schemes, security assessment, and network management
