Job Summary

A company is looking for a Washington Aquaculture Support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze scientific data to assess environmental impacts on biological resources and aquatic habitats
  • Write ESA Biological Opinions and MSA responses related to biological assessments for listed species and habitats
  • Provide technical assistance and feedback to action agencies regarding applications and consultations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with four years of experience, or Master's degree with two years of relevant experience in aquatic biology or related field
  • Knowledge of salmonid life cycles and habitat requirements
  • Experience with shellfish, finfish, and seaweed aquaculture
  • Experience in implementing ESA regulations and writing federal regulatory documents
  • Experience assessing impacts of human activities on marine species and habitats
