Job Summary
A company is looking for a Washington Aquaculture Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze scientific data to assess environmental impacts on biological resources and aquatic habitats
- Write ESA Biological Opinions and MSA responses related to biological assessments for listed species and habitats
- Provide technical assistance and feedback to action agencies regarding applications and consultations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with four years of experience, or Master's degree with two years of relevant experience in aquatic biology or related field
- Knowledge of salmonid life cycles and habitat requirements
- Experience with shellfish, finfish, and seaweed aquaculture
- Experience in implementing ESA regulations and writing federal regulatory documents
- Experience assessing impacts of human activities on marine species and habitats
