Washington Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate billing and reimbursement of assigned accounts, the full-time Washington Billing Specialist will manage denial records and payer requirements while providing excellent customer service in a remote role based in Washington State.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate billing and reimbursement processes for assigned accounts
• Research and resolve denial records and payer requirements efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

Required qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional or hospital billing or accounts receivable follow-up experience, or two years in a Revenue Cycle role
• Completion of an accredited medical billing/coding program or Seattle Children's Revenue Cycle Coordinator program
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Windows environment
