Washington Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to secure the design and implementation of its cloud and physical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a secure technology infrastructure using industry best practices
• Ensure secure deployment and maintenance of cloud and on-premises infrastructure while mentoring IT peers
• Create and communicate documentation of standards and guidelines for infrastructure deployment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum five years of experience managing and securing cloud and/or physical infrastructure
• At least three security-based certifications, including one Azure security certification at the intermediate level
• Demonstrated knowledge of security control systems and various operating system implementations
• Ability to operate in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and participate in on-call rotations
