Job Summary

A company is looking for an American Sign Language Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between deaf and hearing individuals during meetings and events
• Ensure accurate communication in spoken and signed languages while adhering to ethical standards
• Utilize virtual interpreting tools and technologies for remote work as needed

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong interpreting skills
• Knowledge of Deaf Culture and commitment to culturally competent communication
• Certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent is preferred
• At least 2 years of professional interpreting experience is an advantage
• Familiarity with virtual interpreting tools and technologies
