Washington, D.C. Licensed Dietitian

Job Summary

To support families undergoing eating disorder treatment, the full-time remote Washington, D.C. Licensed Dietitian will provide nutrition-related care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with the treatment team to facilitate healthy relationships with food.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food through ongoing support
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' unique needs, including nutrition assessments and meal planning
• Communicate clearly with team members regarding meal plans and nutrition-related concerns while maintaining thorough documentation

Required qualifications

• Active state license in Washington, D.C
• Bachelor's degree or coursework accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• Licensed RDN required, with preferred experience in eating disorders and family-based treatment approaches
• Experience working on interdisciplinary teams
• Organized and results-driven with the ability to balance business needs and clinical priorities
