To support a growing virtual psychiatry practice, the full-time salaried Washington D.C. Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide 100% remote outpatient psychiatric care, managing lower to moderate acuity populations such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD while enjoying clinical autonomy and minimal administrative burden.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for outpatient clients
- Maintain control over scheduling, session structure, and patient population while adhering to established clinical standards
- Utilize electronic medical records to document care accurately and efficiently, ensuring a collaborative, team-based approach
Required qualifications
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
- Experience in delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including psychoeducation and supportive therapy
- Comfort with a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
