Washington Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a Washington Licensed Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience, the full-time position focuses on diverse litigation including UIM matters, first-party claims, and complex insurance issues, offering mentorship and opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case strategies and independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff at all experience levels while maintaining professional communication with clients
• Mentor junior attorneys and build relationships with existing and prospective clients to contribute to team growth and success

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar license in the state of Washington
• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, with specific exposure to Washington UIM matters and first-party bad faith claims
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload, from discovery through trial
• Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems
