Job Summary
Seeking a Washington Licensed Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience, the full-time position focuses on diverse litigation including UIM matters, first-party claims, and complex insurance issues, offering mentorship and opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop compelling case strategies and independently manage court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and trials
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff at all experience levels while maintaining professional communication with clients
- Mentor junior attorneys and build relationships with existing and prospective clients to contribute to team growth and success
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar license in the state of Washington
- 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, with specific exposure to Washington UIM matters and first-party bad faith claims
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload, from discovery through trial
- Familiarity with litigation timekeeping and billing systems
