Washington Licensed Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operational activities of coding staff, the full-time salaried Washington Licensed Coding Supervisor will ensure compliance with policies and regulations while managing coding accuracy, billing processes, and audits in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of coding staff and vendors to ensure accurate and timely coding and billing
• Oversee the resolution of coding-related denials and claim edits
• Conduct compliance audits and provide coverage for the Directors of Coding as needed

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P credential required
• Current Washington state driver's license
• Minimum three years of coding experience in a computerized hospital setting
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a coding environment
