Washington Licensed Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operational activities, the full-time Washington Licensed Coding Supervisor will manage coding staff and vendor teams to ensure accurate and timely coding and billing while maintaining compliance with regulations and policies in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the coding team's daily operations, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations
• Oversee coding accuracy and timeliness, including management of denials and claim edits
• Conduct compliance audits and provide coverage for the Directors of Coding as needed

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P credential required
• Current Washington state driver's license
• Minimum three years of coding experience in a computerized hospital setting
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a coding environment
