Job Summary
To support a growing commercial loan portfolio, the full-time remote Senior Portfolio Manager (Washington Licensed Commercial Underwriter) will evaluate and underwrite loan opportunities, manage ongoing credit quality, and collaborate with relationship teams to ensure sound credit decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Review member applications and structure commercial transactions in alignment with Credit Union policies and risk standards
- Prepare high-quality credit approval narratives, including financial analysis and risk assessments
- Actively manage the commercial loan portfolio, conducting annual reviews and monitoring overall credit quality
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience underwriting commercial lending
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial banking terms, including C&I and CRE deals
- Proficient in financial analysis and credit acumen
- Ability to maintain accuracy and quality in work outputs
