Washington Licensed Conflicts Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Conflicts Attorney to independently review, research, and resolve conflict issues related to new business and staff personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve conflicts of interest on new business and firm lateral hires, including drafting waivers and advising on ethical issues
• Act as a legal advisor to firm lawyers on conflicts-of-interest issues and perform legal research
• Assist management with sensitive issues related to practice management and negotiate disputes over conflicts and waivers

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Experience with conflict analysis, business intake, or risk management in a law firm or in-house legal department preferred
• Thorough understanding of various areas of law, business organizations, and litigation principles
• Familiarity with Intapp products and Elite 3E is a plus
