Job Summary
Detail-oriented and highly organized, the full-time Senior Credentialing Specialist will perform advanced credentialing, licensing, and provider enrollment functions, supporting provider onboarding and regulatory compliance in a hybrid/remote setting within Washington State.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit accurate credentialing and re-credentialing applications for hospitals and payers
- Track and ensure timely renewal of all provider licenses and certifications while conducting primary source verifications
- Collaborate with internal departments and external hospital partners to ensure seamless credentialing operations
Required qualifications:
- 3 years of credentialing experience in a healthcare setting, with lead-level or leadership experience preferred
- CPCS or CPMSM certification by NAMSS required within 1 year of employment
- Strong knowledge of credentialing processes, provider licensing, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing software systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
