Job Summary

A company is looking for a 988 Crisis Call Specialist to provide emotional support during mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic crisis intervention via phone, chat, and text
• Conduct suicide risk assessments and support de-escalation efforts
• Collaborate with clinicians and develop safety plans for individuals in crisis

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with four years of behavioral health experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential required by the end of the probationary period
• Ability to multitask across multiple software platforms in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in crisis intervention or suicide prevention preferred
• Knowledge of the public mental health system in King County is a plus
