Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the insurance clearance process and verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
• Review scheduled appointments and obtain necessary insurance authorizations through payer administrators
• Prepare fee estimates and discuss payment options with patients, including collecting payments and processing transactions

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED certificate
• One year of experience in a medical office setting
