Washington Licensed Home Equity Processor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Home Equity Loan Processor I to manage the loan journey from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate loan documents to ensure compliance with collateral and credit criteria
• Prepare and finalize closing packages while confirming application completeness and accuracy
• Collaborate with members, branch teams, and underwriters to facilitate a smooth loan approval process

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business or equivalent work/educational experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Home Equity or Mortgage Lending
• Compliance with Safe Act legislation requiring annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO)
• Basic PC skills and ability to learn new software
• Math and basic accounting skills
