Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Home Loan Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and render home loan lending decisions in compliance with policies and guidelines
• Review and analyze borrower documentation to determine eligibility and repayment ability
• Mentor and provide support to other team members while meeting production goals

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred
• Minimum of five years of independent mortgage underwriting experience required
• Preferred certifications include MBA Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) and FHA Direct Endorsement (DE)
• Experience with loan origination software and AUS systems is required
• Knowledge of compliance policies and procedures is essential
