Washington Licensed Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensing Specialist to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the TPO and Licensing Supervisor in maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
• Prepare and submit licensing applications, renewals, and reports for the company and its branches
• Monitor changes in regulations and provide guidance on licensing matters to associates

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate degree in a related field or 3+ years of experience in the mortgage industry
• 2-4 years of NMLS knowledge or mortgage experience
• 1-2 years of experience in preparing and submitting licensing reports and renewals
• Understanding of the SAFE Act and state-specific licensing requirements
• High degree of initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team
