Key Responsibilities

• Submit medical claims to insurance companies and process unpaid or denied claims
• Assist patients with benefit verification and payment plans while maintaining billing accuracy
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycles

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience with medical billing
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
• Knowledge of chemical dependency and its effects is preferred
