Job Summary

A company is looking for a Middle School Teacher, History (6-8).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging virtual lessons aligned with Washington State Standards for Social Studies for grades 6-8
• Develop and implement asynchronous learning activities and provide individualized support to students
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a Middle School setting
• Bachelor's degree in History, History Education, Social Studies Education, or a related field
• Valid Washington teaching license with an endorsement in Social Studies (grades 6-8)
• Experience utilizing online learning platforms and educational technology tools
• Residency in the state of Washington is required
