Job Summary
A company is looking for a Primary Care Therapist.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Primary Care team to coordinate referrals for patients needing behavioral health therapy
- Assesses patients' psychosocial service needs and creates treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Provides individual counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitates treatment groups focused on psychoeducation and behavioral interventions
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatry, or equivalent training
- Active license as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), PsyD, or equivalent in Washington State
- Knowledgeable about behavioral health, chemical dependency, and developmental stages
- 2-3 years of experience providing clinical therapy is desired
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare agency/environment is preferred
