Job Summary
To support a collaborative behavioral health team, the full-time salaried Washington Licensed Primary Care Therapist will provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and case management for adults aged 13 and older, primarily focusing on anxiety and depression, with a hybrid work model allowing for remote work 1-2 days a week.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Primary Care team to coordinate referrals for patients needing behavioral health therapy
- Assesses patients' psychosocial service needs and creates treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Facilitates patient treatment groups focused on psychoeducation and behavioral interventions
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatry, or equivalent training
- Active license as Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), PsyD, or equivalent in Washington
- Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health, chemical dependency, and developmental stages
- Accountability for professional practice and commitment to patient care
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation
