Washington Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the part-time Washington Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct remote psychiatry assessments, prescribe medications, and collaborate with a team of clinicians to enhance client care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 60-minute psychiatry assessments and 30-minute follow-up sessions remotely
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with regulations
• Integrate brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate to support client goals

Required qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services as a PMHNP
• Active Washington PMHNP license and DEA license
• Experience in delivering remote telepsychiatry services
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
