Job Summary
To support nuclear and industrial projects, the contract RAC System Engineer (Process & I&C) will work remotely to design mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and developing system architecture and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Design nuclear and industrial mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems, including requirements definition and system drawings
- Develop and maintain system architecture, control strategies, and design documentation such as Design Basis Documents and Logic Diagrams
- Support I&C verification and validation activities, driving alignment across multidisciplinary engineering teams to implement system requirements
Required qualifications
- B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university
- 6+ years of relevant experience with proven mechanical skills for Level 10 or 10+ years for Level 11
- Demonstrated experience in developing design of complex structures and multi-discipline integration
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles and design control tools in nuclear or similar complex industrial applications
- Experience working to quality standards such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001
