Washington Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel who serves as a primary legal advisor for the corporate healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal counsel on complex healthcare regulations, transactions, and governance matters
• Work collaboratively with the legal team and the organization's management and executive team
• Manage attorneys, paralegals, and other staff and/or serve as a subject matter expert in specific specialties

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
• Application for a Washington license and license to practice in any state pending WA license
• Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in a health system corporate legal department or law firm
• Significant involvement in healthcare transactions, joint ventures, affiliations, mergers and acquisitions, and governance matters
• Experience in regulatory, compliance, risk management, insurance, employment, and contractual issues/matters
