Washington Licensed Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Tax Director, Direct Tax.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision processes and manage deferred taxes across U.S. and international entities
• Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls over tax reporting and collaborate with global finance teams for timely tax return filings
• Identify strategic tax planning opportunities and support M&A due diligence from a direct tax perspective

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's in Tax or JD/LLM preferred
• CPA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in U.S. federal, state, and international income tax
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 and tax compliance
• Experience in fast-paced environments, preferably eCommerce, SaaS, or digital retail
