Washington Licensed Underwriting Assistant

Job Summary

Providing high-quality service to agents and companies, the full-time Washington Licensed Underwriting Assistant will evaluate policies, process servicing requests, and manage documentation in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate policies, endorsements, and cancellations, resolving discrepancies as needed
• Review and process policy servicing requests, including endorsements and cancellations
• Invoice and process new business and renewal binders according to internal guidelines

Required qualifications

• One year of wholesale insurance experience
• State-specific Insurance License
• Experience as an underwriting clerk or three years of general insurance experience
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
• Ability to use carrier software effectively
