Washington Peer Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient engagement and assist in identifying barriers to recovery
• Educate patients on community resources and facilitate care transitions
• Maintain communication with patients and Care Team members, reporting on patient progress

Required Qualifications

• Active peer certification in Oregon or Washington State
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support and recovery from substance use or mental health disorders
• Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
• High degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, with compliance to HIPAA regulations
• Ability to connect patients with local recovery resources
