Job Summary
Providing secure telecommunication support, the full-time Washington Red Switch Operator will assist in establishing and maintaining secure voice calls and teleconferences for Department of State personnel, ensuring 24x7 operational readiness.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in building conferences on the secure voice system with multiple participants across various locations
- Support State Operations in establishing secure voice communications for traveling DoS personnel
- Establish, test, and monitor secure communications with aircraft
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and five years of experience, or an Associate's degree in a computer science-related discipline
- 2-3 years of telecommunication support experience
- Experience with placing and managing calls using STE, vIPer, and VoSIP
- Ability to handle moderately complex assignments with little supervision
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Top Secret security clearance and qualified for TS/SCI clearance
