Washington State Behavioral Health Contract Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a WA Outpatient Behavioral Health Contract Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead contracting efforts and maintain a competitive Medicaid network for Washington State behavioral health services
• Manage compliance with state reporting requirements and negotiate contracts with providers and health plans
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely contract execution

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in health care/managed care, specifically in contracting with providers for Medicaid special programs in Washington State
• Experience interacting with Washington State Health Care Authority and submitting required reports
• Solid understanding of behavioral health reimbursement methods, including CPT codes and fee schedules
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications for analyzing data and developing reports
• Significant hands-on experience with behavioral health provider contracting in the Washington State market
