Job Summary
Supporting Medicaid, Cascade Select, and Dual Special Needs Plan members, the full-time hourly Washington State Care Advocate will conduct outreach, facilitate health assessments, and assist members in navigating healthcare systems while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic outreach to complete Welcome Calls and Health Risk Assessments for members
- Educate members on accessing benefits and scheduling health screenings and appointments
- Triage inbound calls from members and refer them to appropriate staff as needed
Required qualifications
- Three years of experience in administrative, customer service, or patient services coordination in healthcare
- One year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related field is preferred
- Certification through an accredited medical assistant program or related certification is preferred
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records is preferred
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
