Job Summary
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient engagement and support recovery management processes
- Educate patients on available community resources and facilitate care transitions
- Participate in continuing education and maintain communication with Care Team members
Required Qualifications
- Peer certification in Oregon or Washington State, active and in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support and lived experience in recovery
- Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
- Ability to navigate treatment resources for opioid use disorder (OUD)
- High degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, with a focus on patient confidentiality
