Job Summary
Delivering education and training in forensic nursing, the full-time Washington State Forensic Clinical Trainer will enhance the quality of care for victims of violent crimes through curriculum development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and grant management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Present educational activities related to forensic nursing as developed by the Forensic Program Manager
- Function as a role model of victim-centered care and professionalism, preparing nurses for forensic nursing care
- Assist with managing the forensics budget and grants in collaboration with the MultiCare Grant Department and HRSA
Required qualifications
- Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL)
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner - Adult/Adolescent (SANE-A) or Pediatrics (SANE-P)
- Emergency department experience preferred
