Job Summary

To support a growing cleantech manufacturing company, the part-time Washington State Licensed Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting, while working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Perform manufacturing cost accounting activities, including job costing and inventory tracking
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting practices and financial reporting
  • Experience with manufacturing cost accounting and proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with payroll processing systems, such as Gusto
