Job Summary
To support a growing cleantech manufacturing company, the part-time Washington State Licensed Accountant will manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting, while working in a hybrid environment with 20-30 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Perform manufacturing cost accounting activities, including job costing and inventory tracking
- Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting practices and financial reporting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Solid knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and experience with payroll processing systems
