Washington State Licensed Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

Leading the legal and compliance team, the full-time remote Washington State Licensed Associate General Counsel will provide strategic legal advice, manage contracting processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the healthcare technology sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on HIPAA, privacy, intellectual property, and other relevant laws to executive leadership
• Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring compliance and favorable terms
• Develop and implement legal and regulatory strategies to support business initiatives and product offerings

Required qualifications:

• Member of the State Bar in good standing
• 10+ years of experience in a senior in-house legal role in healthcare, preferably in healthcare technology or data commercialization
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare data privacy, clinical data acquisition, and interoperability
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with executives and stakeholders
• Proven negotiation skills and experience managing complex contracts
