Job Summary

A company is looking for a 988 Crisis Call Specialist for Swing and Graveyard Shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to 988 calls, chats, and texts with empathy and professionalism
• Conduct suicide and behavioral health risk assessments
• De-escalate high-intensity situations and create safety and action plans with callers

Required Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED plus four years of full-time behavioral health experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential required by the end of the probationary period
• Comfort working independently during evening or overnight hours
• Experience in crisis intervention or contact center preferred
• Knowledge of local or state public mental health systems preferred
