Washington State Licensed Interplan Consultant

Job Summary

To support business growth and operational excellence, the full-time salaried Washington State Licensed Interplan Consultant will serve as a strategic liaison, developing renewal strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with Blue Cross Blue Shield Association requirements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute renewal and growth strategies for Participating Plan business, including responses to RFIs and RFPs
• Negotiate Participating Plan and Control Plan contracts and renewals, including service levels and reimbursement methodologies
• Ensure compliance with Blue Cross Blue Shield Association requirements and coordinate operational processes supporting Inter-Plan business

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Eight (8) years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, account management, or related business functions
• Experience supporting large employer groups or complex healthcare arrangements
• Must obtain and maintain a Washington State insurance agent license and additional state licenses as required
