Job Summary
Providing remote psychotherapy services, the part-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist will deliver evidence-based interventions and conduct assessments for individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders in Washington State, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and utilizing telehealth platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct remote therapy sessions for patients referred from an opioid treatment program, focusing on mental health and co-occurring disorders
- Assess and diagnose patients using DSM 5 TR and/or ASAM criteria, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient support
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in counseling, clinical social work, or psychology with a focus on clinical practice
- Current, valid, and unrestricted license in the State of Washington
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychotherapy, including at least 1 year of telehealth service delivery
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic medical records
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
