Washington State Licensed School Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Washington State Licensed School Counselor for a contract position in a school district, allowing work from home.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with students individually or in groups to address personal, academic, and career-related concerns
• Provide guidance to students in developing and achieving academic goals, course selection, and career planning
• Assess and address students' social and emotional needs, including stress management, conflict resolution, and coping skills

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related field
• Valid state licensure or certification as a school counselor (if applicable)
• Proven experience as a school counselor, preferably in a virtual or online education setting
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and counseling techniques
• Familiarity with virtual counseling platforms, technology tools, and online learning management systems
