Job Summary

A company is looking for a Special Education Teacher, K-8.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state regulations
• Conduct virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with parents, students, and educators
• Adapt curriculum and provide specialized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• A valid Washington teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education (K-12) or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of successful experience working with students with disabilities
• Thorough understanding of the IEP process and special education laws
• Experience utilizing online learning platforms and educational technology tools
