Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Title Examiner, the full-time remote position will examine and analyze title records to determine ownership and identify liens, ensuring accurate title commitments while managing multiple files and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and analyze title searches, public records, and legal documents to determine property ownership and conditions affecting title
• Identify title defects and potential risks, determining appropriate requirements and exceptions
• Prepare accurate title commitments, reports, and resolve title issues through research and coordination with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of commercial examining experience, with Washington State experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of title examination principles and underwriting standards
• Proficiency with title software and public record systems, including Title Point and Softpro System
• Experience examining complex properties and transactions
