Washington State Licensed Utilization Management Clinician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Clinician I.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct utilization reviews for medical or behavioral health requests against established guidelines
• Collaborate with healthcare facilities for discharge planning and member transitions between care settings
• Identify and recommend alternatives for unnecessary services while ensuring timely access to care

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license
• At least two years of clinical experience in physical or behavioral health settings
• Previous experience in Utilization Management and Managed Care is preferred
• Ability to manage high volumes of authorization with accuracy and within established timeframes
