Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Utilization Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Utilization Management Program to meet established goals
• Collaborate with Medical Advisors and Physician Leaders to address medical necessity issues
• Oversee staff productivity and quality standards while managing the denial and appeal process

Required Qualifications

• BSN or bachelor's degree in a health care related field required
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
• Specialty certification preferred
• Five years of nursing experience, including utilization management and discharge planning
• Three years of supervisory or lead experience
