Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payer Contract Manager Sr.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contracts with third-party payers to ensure effective relationships and alignment with strategic priorities
• Lead negotiations with assigned payers, focusing on various reimbursement models and payment terms
• Evaluate payer relationships for opportunities to enhance revenue and reduce operational costs while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field; or 10+ years of relevant experience in payer contracting
• Minimum of seven years of experience in financial/medical data analysis or contract negotiation in a healthcare setting
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred
• Knowledge of medical and pricing terminology, including DRG, RUG, APC, RVU, and conversion factors
