Washington State Peer Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient engagement and assist in identifying barriers to recovery
• Maintain communication with patients and provide social/emotional support
• Participate in continuing education and manage care-related tasks

Required Qualifications

• Peer certification in Oregon or Washington State, active and in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support
• At least 2 years of recovery from substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders
• Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
• Ability to navigate local resources and maintain patient confidentiality
