Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient engagement and assist patients in identifying barriers to recovery
  • Educate patients on available community resources and facilitate care transitions
  • Maintain communication with patients and Care Team members, providing support and reporting on patient outcomes


Required Qualifications
  • Peer certification in Oregon or Washington State, active and in good standing
  • Two years of experience in peer support and a minimum of two years of recovery from substance use or co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Expected to obtain National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) certification within 9 months of hire
  • Strong preference for individuals with underrepresented pathways in recovery and direct experience of marginalization
  • High degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
