Job Summary
Supporting workplace injury and disability claims for clients in Washington, the full-time Washington Workers' Compensation Specialist will manage the full lifecycle of claims, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with state regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of workers' compensation and related disability claims, ensuring timely and accurate case handling
- Coordinate with employees, clients, and medical providers to support treatment plans and recovery progress
- Review claim details and maintain organized records to resolve issues, denials, or delays efficiently
Required qualifications
- Experience managing workers' compensation, accident, disability, or medical claims in an HR or claims environment
- Strong knowledge of Washington State L&I processes and applicable workers' compensation practices
- Background in HR administration related to workplace injury claims
- Demonstrated ability to manage claim documentation and case coordination with high accuracy
- Comfortable using HRIS or case management systems to maintain records and monitor claim progress
