Job Summary
To support water damage claims, the full-time Water Mitigation Consultant (TX Licensed) will review and monitor mitigation estimates, interact with vendors to ensure proper mitigation, and adjust estimates based on loss facts in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitors mitigation estimates and final billing for accuracy
- Assesses mitigation handling on a claim-by-claim basis
- Identifies mitigation or vendor trends and shares best practices across the group
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification-Water Damage Restoration Technician (IIRC-WRT) required
- Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification-Applied Structural Drying (IICRC-ASD) required
- Six years of experience in the insurance industry or specialty mitigation/restoration
- Experience with oversight and mitigation of water damage claims
